IrDA interfacing combined with the availability of Windows XP and Vista drivers as well as a software library (Windows CE 5.0, Windows Mobile 5.0 / 6.0) meet the requirements of mobile computing equipment. Applications do range from field sales, inspection and measuring services, mobile medical condition monitoring through to inventory and warehousing equipment.
